Nestlé Waters sells Brazilian water business to Indaiá | Minalba
Nestlé Waters has accepted a proposal from Indaiá proposal | Minalba, of the Edson Queiroz Group, to acquire its water business in Brazil, including the local brands São Lourenço and Petrópolis.

The transaction will also include the factories located in the States of Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and São Paulo.

Nestlé Brazil said it remains committed to the country, having been there for 97 years. The company will focus its investments in categories in which it already holds leading positions and with the prospect of strong future growth, such as coffee, confectionery, dairy, nutrition, petcare and new segments such as organic.

Job preservation

In a press release from the company, Nestlé Waters said will continue to be present in Brazil, as Indaiá | Minalba produce and distribute the brand Nestlé Pureza Vital, from a licensing agreement, and will also have the provision of distribution of premium global brands Perrier, S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.

Indaiá | Minalba has accepted to preserve all the jobs, and all Nestlé Waters employees will be transferred to the new company.
