Brazil’s Biorigin gets Non-GMO Verification for yeast ingredients for U.S.A.

São Paulo-based Biorigin has achieved Non-GMO Project verification for 38 products of its natural ingredients portfolio.

The company announced it has achieved the verification for its Bionis line of yeast extracts, Biotaste line of specific taste notes and Goldcell line of yeast derivatives (autolyzed and inactive dry yeast).

“Biorigin is always following the most important demands and market trends in order to work on the art of creating natural, non-GMO, clean label and sustainable solutions which promote people´s health and well-being. They seek healthy, natural alternatives that bring appeals for sustainability. In addition, they require transparency from the food industry and check product labels for their composition,”​ saidClaudia Crepaldi, Biorigin Food Business Manager.

Laura Simon, Food Product Manager, added: “The Non-GMO Project Verified label helps consumers to differentiate products, and add value to our customers’ products is the main Biorigin’s strategy.
